Milk Thistle for Prevention:
Many of those so called, ‘naturally preserved' pet foods contain meat by-products that often come from diseased cows or sick chickens. They also contain chemical preservatives and artificial coloring agents, dyes and appetite stimulants. The second source of liver problems in pets is all the chemical sprays used around the house and in the yard and some of the flea and tic sprays. Read the labels on the products you give your pets, and please read our product labels. You will see strengths of the herb, expiration dates, amount of alcohol, (if any) and an absolute full disclosure.of all the ingredients.
Paws for Thought:
Cleanse of the liver.
Twice daily maintenance dose of Eliminex and Milkthistle, for no more than 20 days. If long term support of the liver is recommended, give your pet a daily maintenance dose of Eliminex.
Note: Our Milkthistle is a very powerful extract and it should only be used to stimulate the liver for short periods of time. However if your pet has been on repeated or long term dosages of anti-biotics we highly recommend supporting the pets liver, perhaps a 10 day combined Eliminex & Milkthistle Cleanse each month.
