Bilberry
• Very good for eyes (night vision problems)
• Inhibits macular degeneration of the eyes
• Proven valuable for dyspepsia and diarrhea
• Helps with persistent cough
• Inhibits growth of bacterial cells
• May help with urinary stones
• Good for ailments with the kidney and gall bladder
• It is used similar to Uva Ursi and Pippisewa
• Effective as a constipating agent when used with soft cheese
• Especially good for adult onset diabetes
• Rich in anthocyanosides shown experimentally to dilating blood vessels
BILBERRY for Prevention:
Bilberry is a rich source of antioxidants. For breeds of pets that have a history of eye problems it is an invaluable herb. Specifically effective to prevent cataracts and corneal ulcers and also as a remedy for these conditions. When there is obvious infection with the eye use a chronic dose of IMMUNE EXTRACT or GOLDENSEAL/ECHINACEA

A good solution for degenerative conditions is the best diet you can afford for your pet. Vitamin E is a super antioxidant, use it with the BILBERRY. As well, GINGKO has properties that aid in macular degeneration of the eye. Holistic vets have also had good results using Co Q 10 for the eyes because of its anti-oxidant properties.
Dosage:
Maintenance once a day forever. For a 10 pound cat a bottle would last for 180 days. Chronic conditions use 3 to 4 times a day for 4 to 6 weeks, repeat or drop down to a maintenance dose. May be used with an equal amount of cod liver oil with the dosages
